Budget Hotel in Bali

Review on POP! Hotel Kuta Beach

Period: 2013 Feb 25 until 28

Pros:

1. New . Opened end of 2012.
2. Strategic location. Beach on the west, Legian Street on the east.
3. Circle K convenient shop about 3 minutes walking.
4. Free Wifi.
5. Nice pool view from my room.
6. Creative usage of space and green concept such as design using natural wind for lobby area.
7. Colourful.
8. Value for money. I paid about +-IDR 286,000 (RM90+) per night.
9. Clean
10. 4 Computers at lobby for internet surfing.
11. Complimentary morning bites -> 2 type of nasi bungkus (nasi jingga/nasi hijau/nasi kuning/nasi ungu/nasi merah) + tea/coffee
12. Comfortable bed

 Cons:

1. Will sweat if stay too long at lobby area.
2. Sound proof near room door is not good. Will hear noise if someone walks by and talks loud.
3. Since it is a budget hotel. Hence anything additional required such as pillow,  there will be surcharge.
4. Small alley entering hotel. Not a issue though if you are walking in group. Bali is quite safe by the way. Literaly I feel that Bali is full of small alley road.
5. No slipper provided.
6. There is a phone outsife lift but not in the room. Not an issue unless you are travelling in big group and you like to intercom each other.

Conclusion: It is not luxury but it has all the neccesity.
